The latest edition of the Previews catalog, the main publication for U.S. comic shop owners, lists two made-with-Poser/DAZ comics.
Brian Haberlin’s excellent Sonata has nearly finished its six-issue run, and is set to start a new story-arc “The Citadel” with the printing of #7 later in 2019. The comic is made with Poser. The trade paperback collecting #1-6 should be out just before Christmas.
Interestingly this title is on Comixology, which shows that their sniffy “we don’t accept 3D rendered comics” policy only holds if it looks 3D rendered.
Sixus1’s Apocalypse Girl has picked up a distributor, who is reprinting the first few issues from January 2020, and it’s now set to complete a complete-story run into Spring 2020. Sixus1 develops for DAZ Studio these days, so I’m not sure if it’s made with Poser or DAZ or mix of both, with over-inking/painting?
Carrara 8 is DAZ Studio's official 'big sister' software.
Carrara loads all DAZ and Poser characters and scenes,
and supports LuxRender for top-quality realistic rendering.
