New Poser script: get image map UV tiling in early versions of Poser

A new free Poser script, just arrived on ShareCG. Get tiling to be adjustable, with the ‘Set Tiling’ Poser Python script. Tested “in Poser 6″…

“Are your tiling medieval chainmail textures not looking quite right? Individual links large enough for a ballista bolt to pass through? Or perhaps the links are so tiny that your coat-of-mail is more like a gossamer veil? You need an easy way to adjust the amount of tiling and set the individual links to the perfect size for that destrier barding, chain mail bikini, or whatever. The script will change the U_Scale and V_Scale parameters on every material in the currently selected figure or actor, or just the selected material.”

Probably later version of Poser do this without a script? I haven’t got that far with re-learning Poser yet, but a quick search of the Poser 9 / Poser Pro 2012 manual suggests this feature is in the latest version (see page 360)…

However, the script may still be useful for the en-masse changing materials globally on a figure, rather than changing materials one by one?
